IPD TO HOST “SAFETY TIPS FOR KIDS” PROGRAM
Island youths (Age 5-16) are invited and encouraged to attend a Free Safety Program (following the St. Jude Bike-A-Thon) on Saturday, March 3 at noon at Town Hall. In addition, The Delta Bike Project (Mobile’s Community Bike Shop) and the Trek Bicyle Store will be on hand prior to the start of the Bike-A-Thon (approx. 730-8am) at the Water & Sewer Office to offer courtesy bike and helmet inspections and provide minor equipment adjustments. Please make plans to take advantage of these opportunties to ensure the safety of our youngest citizens.
NOTICE: March Town Crier Date Correction
The March 2018 Town Crier inaccurately reported the date of the St. Francis Arts & Crafts Festival. The correct date of the event is Saturday, April 21 instead of April 28. All other information about the festival is correct. We apologize for and regret the error. Please make this correction on your calendar.

for the purpose of discussing APPLICATIONs – PERMITS FORMS
POWER OUTAGE
Representatives with Alabama Power Company have notified town officials that an island-wide power outage is planned for Thursday, February 15, 2018 (Alternate date February 16, 2018). Repairs and installation associated with transmission lines/substation will require a six hour service interruption from 7am-1pm that day. Residents and business owners are encouraged to make appropriate plans in advance of the scheduled outage to reduce and/or eliminate any inconveniences. The town will notify you in the event the aforementioned day/time of outage should change for any reason.
